If you're like 69% of Americans with less than $1,000 in savings, disability insurance is essential. It provides a safety net, replacing a portion of your income when you're unable to work due to a covered illness or injury. Think of it as paycheck protection.

Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
A flexible spending account (FSA) is a tax-advantaged financial account available through your employer's cafeteria plan. The medical FSA is the most common type, allowing you to allocate part of your earnings for qualified expenses like medical copays with doctors, dentists, and optometrists.
Note that funds not used by the plan year's end are typically forfeited under the "use it or lose it" rule, unless your employer offers a rollover provision.
